1. If you get divorced, you could end up paying alimony to your spouse. Alimony, or spousal support, asit is commonly referred to, is payment that you have to pay your spouse so that they can keep the lifestyle that they are accustomed to.
2. If you have children and you don’t stay married, you are going to have to fork over money for child support, or, if you don’t have to pay child support, then you likely have the kids to take care of…by yourself, that is going to eat up time that you could have split with your spouse, and time is money.
3. If you divorce you are going to have to pay divorce lawyers a ton of money, if you get them involved, and if your spouse has a lawyer, then you are going to want to get one too.
